Dr. Timothy K. Kreth

Dr. Timothy Kreth joined the practice in July of 2005. He grew up in Arkansas and attended the University of Dallas, where he graduated with honors. He then attended the University of Arkansas where he earned his medical degree.

After training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, he entered private practice with the Sutherland Clinic, where during his 19-year career he served as president of the Memphis Chapter of the American Heart Association. As an adjunct faculty member of the University of Tennessee during this time as well, he has been the recipient of a number of teaching awards and an investigator in numerous clinical research projects.

Dr. Kreth specializes in general and interventional cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and board certified in both General and Interventional Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. In addition to privileges at Summit Medical Center, Dr. Kreth has privileges at Centennial Medical Center, St. Thomas, and Baptist Hospitals.
