David C. Huneycutt, Jr., MD, FACC

Dr. Huneycutt graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and went on to complete his medical education, graduating Magna Cum Laude, from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. GA. He served his Internal Medicine Residency at Emory University Hospital and was later selected as Chief Resident at Veterans Affairs Medical Center /Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Huneycutt completed advanced fellowship training in Cardiology in 2008, also at Emory University Hospital.

Dr. Huneycutt has a special interest in advanced imaging techniques in the diagnosis and management of cardiovacular disease. He is level III trained in cardiovascular MRI and directs the Cardiac MRI program at Centennial Medical Center. He is board certified in nuclear cardiology and has advanced training in cardiac CT and transesophageal echocardiography. Dr Huneycutt is currently serving as the Director of Non-Invasive Imaging at Centennial Medical Center which offers a comprehensive multimodality approach to cardiovascular imaging.
